Wow, hard to believe that this the first post I’ve made while not in English night-school… kinda sad. Oh well, I’ll get through it. I figured I would(or try to) keep up with this blog, because I’m really bored all the time and this is more fun than moping on the couch(insert random “meow?”). Whatever… I guess I should get to the meat of this.

I think that we, as people, like to worship celebrities… why? Because we’re idiots! Shows like Entertainment Tonight and magazines that feature “Celebrity Gossip” NEED TO DIE! There is no point in them, and they make people stupider and stupider(yes, stupider). Remember back long ago when that Heath Ledger person died? Yeah, that was annoying and no one talks about it anymore. Remember when Nicole Whats-her-face died? That’s right, you don’t! That’s all the “news” talked about for a freaking month and now no one remembers it… maybe we should stick to important stories that have an effect on your daily life.

Does anyone know why celebrity gossip is so famous, because I don’t… I don’t pay attention to it, I don’t even watch television that often(the only time the television is on in my house is when someone else is watching it, I’m playing video games, or it’s on the news for backgrounds noise while I read). I guess celebrity worship is how the proletariat gets through their miserable lives, maybe when they see a star go through a bad time it tells them maybe they too can be famous. Again, I seriously don’t understand, but what I do know is that people who read these magazines and watch these shows are usually the idiots who listen to rap and what shows on MTV. Maybe they even watch Flavour of Love! *sarcasm* I love that show, *sarcasm* I’m trying to figure out why people watch that too, it’s another form of celebrity worship.

For all of you who love to read celebrity gossip magazines, listen to rap, and watch shows on MTV, please do humanity a favour and kill yourself. Thanks!

I want to know why people make a big deal over things like homosexuality and abortion… why can’t we leave people alone and let them live?

The thing is, with abortion, I believe they have the right to chose… If a person cannot take care of a child, they shouldn’t be allowed to have one; if a person is going to die, they shouldn’t have a child; If a person was raped, it should be their choice if they keep the child or not. I don’t care if it’s against a religion or not… religion should never interfere with something life-threatening. I’m not saying that it’s bad to have a religion(I’m somewhat religious myself, but I won’t say which over the internet), but don’t use religion as an excuse to persecute people or make their lives bad or even kill them.

The thing with homosexuality, I believe, is that some people don’t want to be, but events have happened in their lives to make them that way. I think that no one would choose to be that way… considering all the torment they have to go through. Also, some homosexuals want to have children, if they wanted to have children, why would they not be heterosexual? The answer is because they have no choice… It’s not their fault their that way, but you shouldn’t persecute them for the way they think and act and believe.

I think that if we could stop being ignorant and accept people for who they are, we Americans would not have to deal with the 2.3 million deaths caused by violence and hate here in the United States. I can’t believe that people here in America are so hateful, we need to deal with this before we start to get into any wars or anything. I also just found out that many prisoners are getting put on parole just because the prisons are running out of money(because there are so many people in them). I don’t care about the living conditions of prison inmates, I just don’t want them out until they’ve served their sentence.

Oh, well, I don’t think anyone will care about what I’ve said… So what. I think some people should think before they act and try not to use religion or economy as a shield for their own personal beliefs.
